Teddy Grant is an up and coming drummer in Baltimore, MD mentored by such musicians as Dennis Chambers, Pat Mastelotto, Barry Dove, and Dana Hawkins. Teddy’s styles include Funk, R&B, Jazz Fusion and Gospel.
He is the 2012 winner of the Vic Firth Keith Carlock Play-Along competition winning with his performance to “Once and For All.” We met up with Teddy at his first NAMM Show experience to talk drumming, music, his career with Kentavius Jones and the Champagne Rain and NAMM.
